Continuing Success with Summer Coding Camps 2020

Dear Parents,

We hope this message finds you, your family and loved ones, well and safe.

We are excited and please to announce that One-Off Coder will be re-opening our physical facility on June 8, 2020. Our 10-weeks of engaging, educational and fun Summer Coding Camps will start on June 15, 2020 and run through August 21, 2020. However, due to the current situation brought upon by COVID-19, and per CDC guidelines, we can and will only accept 10 students per Summer Coding Camp session this year. Please make sure to enroll as soon as possible to make the list.

The health and safety of our students and staff is of upmost importance. We will continue to monitor the CDC guidelines and Virginia Health Department for any updates. Arrangements will be made to minimize physical contact and maximize safety between students and staff. A cleaning station with hand sanitizer will also be provided. We have two restrooms and only 1 student at a time will be allowed in each restroom.

The following are recommendations, requirements and best practices for our students and staff during  Summer Coding Camps.

• Per the Face Covering Requirement by Governor Northam, staff and students will wear masks. Students must bring and use their own mask to camp (https://www.governor.virginia.gov/newsroom/all-releases/2020/may/headline-857020-en.html). One-Off Coder will provide masks at an additional cost. Students must be wearing a mask before entering the facility.
• If your child is sick or feverish, please inform us and  stay home until full recovery.
• Students should bring their own water bottle, but this suggestion is not absolutely necessary. We have a water station with disposable cups.
• Parents will NOT be allowed in the building, and only students wearing masks will be allowed to enter.
• Parents must sign-in and sign-out students using an external sheet.
• Parents should check their child’s temperature on a daily basis. One-Off Coder will also check the students’ temperature as appropriate.
• Please supply lunch and extra snacks. On Fridays, we will provide pizza and drinks for lunch.

  • Drop-off: 7:00-9:00 AM
  • Pick-up: 5:00-7:00 PM
